Operating CNC lathe with a UR5 collaborative robot

In the company Izoelektro, due to the increased volume of production of post composite insulators and the tendency to automate production processes, we automated the CNC machining process of metal fittings, which are components of the insulator core. We operate the loading to a CNC lathe with an UR5 collaborative robot. In addition to programming the robotic arm, we adjusted the opening and closing of the door on the CNC lathe and made a conveyor belt on which we can load 110 workpieces. By automating and using a robotic arm, we will significantly relieve the worker and thus shorten the production time of products.
